1. The first thing you will need to do is get with your partner and transform yourself into a scientist. 2. Visit each of the websites on the "Websites" page. 3. You will then work with your partner to find the answers to the following questions. Write your answers to these questions in your observation notebook. Site #1 What is gravity? Write down at least five new facts you have learned about gravity. Site #2 How does gravity work on the moon? In a paragraph, explain what happened in this demonstration.
Site #3 Compare what happens to each object in regular mood to what happens to each object in vacuum mode. 4. After you have finished gathering information about gravity, write President Switzer an informative letter explaining to her why gravity is causing objects to fall around campus. Be sure to tell her what you think should be done about this dangerous situation! 5. Finally, when you are both done with your assignment, turn in your observation notebook and your informative letter to President Switzer. Tomorrow President Switzer will inform us which idea she will plan to use on campus. |
