Each student will be graded using the rubric below.  Make sure you do your personal best on each task.  When you have completed all of the assignments, turn in your observation journals, as well as  your informative letter into the folder.  President Switzer cannot wait to find a solution to this problem!

Participation	Did not listen to directions and therefore, did not know what to do.	Followed directions, but had to be reminded to focus on assignment.	Followed directions and focused on my assignment.	Followed all directions, helped others, and worked well with my partner.
Cooperation with Partner	We did not do any work because we were playing around.	We worked well together and still did not complete the assignment.	We completed the assignment but frequently disagreed.	We worked well with each other, shared ideas, and completed the assignment on time.
Research	I did not really understand my assignment, so I did not complete the research.	I gave a few examples in my research.	I used plenty of examples, but my research was rushed.	I used plenty of examples and gave plenty of details in my research.
Letter	We did not use the information to write a letter for President Switzer because we could not stay on task.	We used the information, but did not focus so we did not find a solution for President Switzer.	We had trouble with our information, but we did complete the letter for President Switzer.	We worked well on finding the information from our resources and were able to make a creative proposal for President Switzer.
