Part 1 – Explorations for

Ecosystem Investigators

 

Directions:

 

To find information on the Temperate Deciduous Forest ecosystem, this is what you will need to do:

 

1.  First, each student will be assigned to a group of 3 students.

 

2.  Once in a group each student will need to pick one ecosystem investigator job.  In order to find out the responsibilities of each investigator click on one of the three jobs below to reveal questions and links.

 

3.  After each of you have picked an ecosystem investigator job start gathering your information.  Remember to have fun and complete your handout because that is the key to your group’s success!

 

4.  Get started!  Select a job and investigate!

Part 3 – Present To The Class

 

 

Now it is time for your group to present your ecosystem in a box to the class.  Each student in the group will explain to the class their job and what they found while researching information for their job.  The teacher will give the class specific directions for this part.  Teachers can print off the Presentation Handout for directions.
