Donbyte Tidbits
4/10/08:It has been a while since I have been able to post something on here on a non-Monday but my Thursday schedule is a bit different today and as a result I have found myself with a wee bit of free time to fit in a little bit of an update. There typically isn’t a lot of action going on in my life that is worth sharing but there have been a couple of things this week. The first thing that has happened is that I have finally gotten my house that I am going to live in from at least August through December. This Friday Obama is going to be in Muncie, I was going to go see him but it ended up that I wasn’t able to get a ticket L. That is okay though I have two tests at the beginning of next week so it was a better school decision not to go. Instead I am trying to be able to go home for the weekend, using the people who are going to Muncie as a ride. I haven’t gone home for “fun” in at least 2.5 years. Being home will be a good chance for me to relax a little bit but then also get away from some of the distractions that are here at school thus giving me more time to study. Well that is it for my brief little blurb. Just wanted to say that I am doing okay.
4/07/08: It is Monday again which means it is time for a new week. While Mondays are typically a time to look ahead I am going to take a moment and post some things that happened during the previous week. Lately I have gotten onto the kick of calling myself an old-fogie because I seem to be mellowing out and thinking more about old(er) people sorts of things. I have a good example of a sign that age is setting in and booting out my youthfulness. This week I managed to go to the bar twice, which I believe I have only managed to do one other time this school year. This sounds like a youthful sort of thing until there is further inspection. The first detail is that I didn’t go to the bar that college students tend to go to but rather I went to the one professors and real grownups go to, it also serves as a restaurant but can be considered a bar. The second detail is that I didn’t have anything but water. The big kicker is that I actually did do (yes successfully) homework there both times. The last and final detail is that the second time I went was on a Saturday evening. For the most part the bar was empty the first time and both times I had friends who were also doing school work. The problem is Manchester doesn’t have a coffee shop just yet, but one will be opening soon. As for more serious information this week I managed to solve some tricky problems at work which was fun and nice. This week I also went to a job fair and got my information out there in the world. Probably the best thing that happened from that trip though was my chance to talk with the new lady who does career services here at the College. From what I can tell she excels at what she does. I have set up an appointment with her this Wed. so that I may better tap into the resources that the college provides for students looking for jobs. It is my understanding that things have improved since the time I tried last year. Well, I need to go to lunch now. I will of course update this as soon as I can. I hope all is going well for you.

New to the site
3/27/08:
My Schedule has changed for the second half of the semester. Check it out here.
3/03/08:
I added an image of me on the home page to make the page look more welcoming.
2/26/08:
I have made this right hand column more user friendly. The dates are now red and the inserts are now linked to where the changes have been made. It doesn't look as pretty as I would like but it gets what I want done better than before.
2/25/08:
Tidbits that will no longer fit on this page have been moved to the "Archived Tidbits" page.
2/19/08:
A note has been added to the pages of the "Mary and Me" photo album.
02/12/08:
Everything!! (Though most of the things on this site were made about a year ago, now is the first time that I am releasing it.)
