DIARY OF A FLY

Summary: A diary or journal is a record of someone's daily events. In the book Diary of a Fly, the main character is a little insect named Fly who keeps a diary. She is a spunky little fly who finds an adventure in everything she does, whether it is going to school and learning how to fly or hanging out with her two best friends Worm and Spider. When little Fly grows up she wants nothing more than to be a superhero. However, not everybody thinks Fly can do it. In the end, Fly learns that it's ok to dream, no matter how big or small those dreams may be.
About the Author: Doreen Cronin is a famous children's author who has written many other books including Diary of a Worm and Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type. When she was younger she wanted to become an FBI agent or a police officer like her dad. However, she went to law school instead and, after a series of tragic events including the passing of her father, she wrote her first book. Since then, Doreen has lived in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter writing books that make people of all ages laugh. For more information on Doreen Cronin or her books visit her website here.
