Aliki Brandenburg

 Aliki is a writer and illustrator for children's books. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She illustrates her own works along with works by her husband, Franz. In many of her books her two children, Alexa and Jason, appear.

 

She has received many awards. She has received the New York Academy of Sciences Children's Book Award and the Drexel Citation.

She currently lives in London with her husband.
