My Teaching Philosophy

    Children are unique in everyway. There is no two children the same and therefore teaching should take that into consideration. I believe that a teacher teaches so that the students can learn, so that they can become successful citizens, and so that they can have a safe place to come everyday where they are offered two meals. Teaching is more than just a curriculum and making sure that the students pass standardized tests. A teacher is supposed to be loving and caring.

    The students will be a priority in my career. I am teaching to maximize student learning. I will differentiate my lessons and use interdisciplinary lessons, and especially use Gardner's Multiple  Intelligences. Children learn in many different ways and as a teacher it is my responsibility to teach the students in the way that suits them best. I love children and I love to teach and that is what drives me to do my absolute best.
