Your Task

Your assignment will be to choose one character from A Tale of Two Cities and then write a brief essay describing what life would be like for that character during the time period of this novel (1775- 1793).

• Choose a character from the given list, outlined in the process.
  
• Your task will be to research this time period and more specifically, what life was like for your character.
  
• With this task, you will analyze life situations during this time period and learn more about what it was like to live during the French Revolution.
  
• The research will provide a basis for the essay, which will explain life through the eyes of your chosen character.
  
• I understand that we have not yet read A Tale of Two Cities. Our task is to learn more about the time frame so that when we do read it, we can better understand what is going on.
