| Hometown: Peru, Indiana | This is a picture of me holding a piece of sugar cane I bought in Jamaica this spring. One of my kindergarten students thought sugar cane grew in his backyard and I wanted to show him exactly what it looked like in real life. |

just before I started my second marathon with my dad and Aunt Carrie on September 25,
2010 in Akron, Ohio. The second photo was taken just after the race. My aunt ended up breaking her goal of five hours. |
