A1 – Develops appropriate tools to assess learning

 

            -Debate Rubric

               - My ability to develop tools to assess learning is shown through this rubric that I design  assess the student's debate during class.

 

            - Social Studies Unit -Assessment 

            -The assessments tools used in this unit, shows that I am able to create a variety of different ways to assess.

 

A2 – Assesses learning through standardized and teacher-constructed tests

 

                   -Phase II of Reader's Case Study

                -During phase two of my reader's case study, I gave a running record and assessed how much further my students learning had gone.  

 

                 -Vocabulary Pre-Test

                 -This vocabulary pre-test shows my ability to create my own test.  

 

 

A3 – Assesses learning through appropriate alternative measures

 

            -Rubric from Story Telling Lesson 

              -This rubric from a story telling lesson shows that I assess not only from exams but in other methods as well.

 

              -Rubric from "How To" Article

              -This rubric is from an Article that my fifth grade students had to complete. It shows that I assess in more ways than just assigning the students test.  

 

A4 – Keeps records to determine and report student progress

 

            -PHASES III and IV from Reader's Case Study 

              - Phases three and four of my case study show my ability to keep records to determine a students progress as well as plan ways to help that progress keep moving forward.
