Reading

Now it is time to read the story! While you read complete these two activities.

Activity1:

1. Print off this worksheet.

2. Write down 8 words that you are unsure of while you are reading the book.

3. After you have finished reading the book all the way through look the words up by going to the Dictionary on the internet.

Activity 2:

1. Stop reading on the page where Edward becomes the "Duck Master."

2. Imagine that you are Edward. How do you feels after you have been given the honor of "Duck Master?" Write in your journal about the marching duck show and how you feel.  Print off this journal entry page. The entry should be 4-5 sentences long. Be sure to describe how you (Edward) feel and describe your day.
