Now that you are done reading please complete these two activities!
Activity 1:
Make a timeline of the main events of the story starting with Edward finding the duckling and ending with Edward becoming the official Duck Master.
1. Map out your timeline on a sheet of scrap paper. Raise your hand and I will bring you paper. You should have at least 10 events on your timeline.
2. Use this website to make the timeline by following the step by step directions. When you are done with your timeline click print.

Activity 2:
1.The book John Philip Duck is based on a real life story. Check out the website to the Peabody Hotel and read about the legend and facts about the marching Peabody ducks.
2. Now, watch this Video of the marching ducks at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.
3. Write a 4-5 line poem about about the Peabody Hotel ducks using the information you learned from the hotel website. Print off this poem sheet and write your poem on the lines. If you need scrap paper to plan your poem raise your hand.
Congratulations! Now you are done! Go back to the main page and click the "Rubric" button at the top of the page. Print it off and paper clip all of your papers together and hand them to me.
