Activities During Reading

*These Activities are meant to be done while you are reading the book.

Activity 1: Fill out this sheet with your answers to the riddles. Go here  to find an alphabetical list of mammals if you cannot think of what animal the riddle is about.

Activity 2: Look up the definition of any words you do not know (find and least 2 words to look up) by going to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary. Read each part of the definition to determine which definition best fits the book's use of the word.
