After Reading Activities

Activity 1- Observing Bean Seeds

• Follow the directions in your science journal to help you observe your seed/plant. (you already printed this out on the first day)

•  Next print out the calendar to help you observe your new plant (draw your seed/plant in each individual square).  Click here to get the calendar. 

• Everyday you should write about your seed/plant in your science journal.  (Don't forget to include:  how tall will your plant is getting, what color your plant might be, is it changing color, and anything else you might be noticing.)

Activity 2- Sharing Your Venn Diagram and Observations

• Now that you have completed all of the other activities, you will present the information that is on your Venn Diagram as well as your seed/plant to the class during circle time on Friday.  Remember to tell us what you thought your seed/plant would look like before you started and what your plant actually looks like today!!!
