Warm-hearted Welcome:

Education has had a profound impact on my life.  Throughout my life thus far, I have had more fun and exciting experiences involving education than I could ever imagine I would ever have.  Thankfully, I have had loving parents who have sacrificed and worked very hard to ensure I received the best education as humanly possible.  Thanks mom and dad!

Philosophy of Education

Every child is special.  No matter the race, gender, ethnicity, religious preference, socioeconomic status or intellectual ability, it is my responsibility as an educator to teach every child with the same passion, dedication and determination.  The children who walk through my classroom door are deserving of the best education possible, an environment which is learner-friendly and supportive, and the skills and/or tools of succeeding not only through life but beyond society's expectations and drawbacks.

To accomplish my goal of providing every child with each of these deserving gifts, I will use a variety of teaching strategies, behavior management methods and theology, and various lessons, units, plans, and assessments to maintain a productive, well-rounded, and successful classroom.  Students will feel supported, and will learn to accept consequences (positive and negative) for their actions, which in the future, will lead to the understanding of civil responsibilities, duties and the importance of living together in a community in harmony and respect.

Today, I dedicate myself to the lives of children across this country and throughout the world.

We are each here today to help one-another, to serve our Creator, and to leave our world a better place for the future generation.

Learning Center Fair; Camp Ramapo for Children, Summer 2006

Description:  Every session, the counselors from the Discovery Center and Goldstein Reading Center combine forces to sponsor the LC Fair (Learning Center Fair).  The LC Fair engages campers in educational activities, while allowing them to relate fun with learning and education.  Most campers respond with enthusiasm and eagerness as they realize that they will be the ones to conduct the experiments.  Stations may include: ice cream making, face painting, bouency, milk explosion, orange soda making, never-ending story, ooblek, and more...
