My Teaching Philosophy

    I strongly believe that each student who walks into my class is entitled to the best possible education I can provide.  I know that each student has the ability to succeed.  Every student has different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.  It is my job to bring out those strengths and build on them by providing intriguing yet challenging lessons.  I will provide students with activities that are conducive to their learning style.  It is my duty to create a warm environment in which the students feel comfortable expressing themselves.  I feel it is important for students to be engaged in hands-on activities and to have fun while learning.  I am excited to provide students with a multitude of experiences where they can explore and form new ideas.  I believe that teaching is a noble profession allowing me the power to influence and change the lives of our youth.
