1.  K-W-L Chart
Click on the link for the K-W-L worksheet and print it out.  Fill out the worksheet including information on punctuation marks you know and briefly explain what you know about their purpose.  Write any questions or other information you wish to know about in the second column, headed "What do you want to know?"  After reading and doing other activities, fill out the third column with information you learned about punctuation.

2.  Read the following passage.  Click on the link below the passage and print out the questions.  Answer the questions based on the reading. 

    Heather went to the grocery store  She needed to buy apples oranges grapes and milk for her party  After going to the grocery store she went to the post office to mail her invitations  The post office worker said  You did not put stamps on your invitations  Oh no Heather exclaimed  Can I buy some stamps here  No the postman said were all out  If you come back at 400 well have a new shipment in  Heather looked at her watch and realized it was only 115 so she went to buy some balloons for her party  She spent so much time in the party shop that before she knew it it was 352 I had better get back to the post office she exclaimed  Heather returned to the post office and realized that she had spent all of her money at the party shop  Heather decided that she had better hand deliver them to her guests
