Teaching Philosophy
"It is today that we create the world of the future." ~Eleanor Roosevelt
Being an elementary teacher is the most noble field in today's society. A teacher hold a child's future in their own hands and must consider the different ways in which different children learn and succeed in the classroom. A teacher must be willing to take risks and change their teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student within their classroom. A teacher must make the effort and take the time to accommodate their lesson plans to meet the needs of every student.
I want to be able to challenge the students that walk into my classroom and teach them not only book knowledge but life long skills that will help them in the future. I want my students to feel comfortable and safe within my classroom. I want my students to be engaged and active within the classroom so they learn new information, not because they have to but because they want to learn.
