PERSONAL:

I was born on January 27, 1984 in South Bend, Indiana and then my family, which consists of my parents:  Norman and Ronda and my three older brothers: Jay, Joe, and Todd, moved to rural Albion, Indiana to take over my grandparents dairy farm.  I spent my childhood growing up on the dairy farm.  I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity, learning the true meaning of responsibility and hard work ethic.  I participated in 4-H for ten years and loved every minute of it.  In 2003, I was honored as being Tops in Noble County 4-H, along with being an Exceptional 4-Her.  During my school years, I participated in many activities, such as, sports (basketball (4 years), football manager (5 years), track and field (4 years)), Student Government, National Honor Society, 4-H, Blessed Sacrament Church Youth Group, Noble County Youth on Board and Noble County United Way Board of Directors.  In 2000 and 2002, I was honored as being Most Inspirational Runner for Central Noble Track and Field.

After graduating from Central Noble High School, I continued my education at Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana.  At Manchester College, I started as an Athletic Training major, but soon found my love for teaching.  Through teaching, I found myself being able to enlighten and inspire children and young adults to be the best person they possibly can be through the work they accomplish.  I quickly changed my major to Art Education where I have learned to love everything about art.  I will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in Art Education in May 2006.  After graduation, I plan to move back to Albion and start my teaching career along with coaching.  While spending time at home I plan to focus on my family, which has had several recent additions.  My brother Jay married Regina Khan in June 2001 and then my other brothers Joe and Todd both united in marriage this summer (June and August 2005) to Megan Bricker and Heather Dice.  I am so grateful to have such a wonderful and supportive family and for once...the girls out number the guys!  :)
