Interested in learning more about why I do some of the things I do in the classroom?

Cooperative Learning:

Cooperative Learning is not a fad, it is not a novel new teaching technique.  It has been around for quite some time and researched for more than a century.  I'd be happy to chat about what I do with Cooperative Learning.  I've taken three different courses from the gurus of cooperative learning, Roger Johnson and David Johnson.  I highly recommend participating in some of their workshops (or some other Cooperative Learning workshop) if you want to get serious about it.  You can get college credit for it if you are still a student.  If you're graduating and have a teaching position, you may be able to get your school corporation to send you (or to bring someone in to train a group of teachers).
