The Process
The Selection Process:
1. After reviewing the questions, you and your group members will visit some of the websites found on below to find out information about different composers from different style periods.
2. After searching these websites, select the four different composers from the four different style periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Twentieth Century).
3. Research your chosen composers using the questions as a basis of what information you need to find.
4. After you answer all of the questions for each composer, brainstorm ideas of how to present this composer in your paragraphs.
Writing your Paragraphs:
1. Use the information from the questions and the websites to construct a paragraph on each of the composers, explaining why you would bring that specific composer back to talk to your class room about their style period.
2. Make sure that you provide at least 3 supporting reasons on why you chose this composer to talk to your class.
3. Do not hesitate to use information that describes the significance of the composer and details about their style period.
4. The more details the better your paragraph will be.
5. Use descriptive sentences and do not use first person unless necessary.
