I student taught in both a 3rd grade general education classroom and a K-2 moderate special needs classroom.

The conclusion to our science unit on sound was an alternative assessment which asked students to make their own instrument and explain to the class how they designed it and how it produces sound.  Here are just some of the neat instruments they created!

 

Jasper loved this interdisciplinary lesson that combined science and reading instruction. 

We learned about octopus' adaptations while reading the book Octopus Under the Sea

Levi is learning how to make choices during his free time.
Jacob loves using the computer as a tool to learn math. Jasper knows to get right to work when he enters the classroom in the morning.
