Summary

Rainbow Fish, ‘the most beautiful fish in the entire ocean,’ refuses to share his precious scales with the other fish in the sea; ultimately, his greed leaves him without friends or admirers. He seeks counsel from the wise octopus, who advises him to give away his beautiful, iridescent scales.  After sharing his prized scales with the other fish, Rainbow Fish has only one sparkling scale left, but he now has friends and he decides that is most important!
