About the Author: Lola M. Schaefer lives in Georgia with her husband Ted. She was a teacher for eighteen years and taught kindergarten through seventh grade. She graduated college and received her B.A. in Education from Indiana University. As a previous teacher and writing consultant, Lola M. Schaefer has written over 200 children's books! Lola M. Schaefer travels all over the country visiting schools and providing information on effective classroom strategies on writing workshop, the craft of writing, and different genre structures.
