After Reading

After you have finished reading the book, please complete the following activities.

Activity One: Go back to your KWL Chart in your packet and fill out the final column listing 5 things you have learned from this project.

Activity Two: Go to this website and print out the Plot Worksheet.  Fill this worksheet out using The Magic School Bus: In the Arctic book and attach it to the back of your packet.

Activity Three: For your last activity, click on this LINK to go to a website to create your own word search and follow the steps below.

Click on GO.
In Step 1, name your puzzle In the Arctic. Click NEXT when finished.
During Step 2, click on BIG and Lowercase. Click NEXT when finished.
Step 3, enter the following words. There should be ONE word per box.

arctic
ice
heat
cold
warmblooded
coldblooded
blubber
insulation
polarbear
walrus
igloo
Click NEXT when finished

In Step 4, select Print Puzzle. You will then PRINT OUT this word search, complete it, and turn it in attached to the back of your packet!

Congratulations! You have finished the Project and have done a GREAT JOB! :)

BUT WAIT!!!! Be sure to double check your checklist to be sure you have completed ALL activities and put your name is on all papers in your packet.

Do NOT forget to turn in your packet to me when finished!  

Return to the Instructions and be sure to complete steps six and seven.
