Summary of the Book: This alphabet book is much more than just learning about the alphabet. It is a science book about mammal skulls. Each page of the book has a picture of the skull of a mammal along with a riddle describing the owner of the skull. These aren't just your typical mammals, so don't think you are going to get by knowing a cat or mouse. After done reading the book, there is an answer page with all the answers to the riddles.
About the Author: Gerald (Jerry) Pollotta was born in 1953 in Boston, Massachusetts and has six other brother and sisters. He grew up close to his publisher, also in Massachusetts. While Majoring in Business at Georgetown University, he published his first book. He began writing numerous alphabet books, one of which became the best selling book at the New England Aquarium.
