About the Author- Jane Yolen!

Jane was born in New York City.  Her dad was a journalist who wrote articles for the New York Times and also a soldier in World War II.  Her mom was a social worker.  As a kid she liked writing and singing and she also took piano lessons and did ballet!  Now that she's grown up she has three kids and six grandchildren!  Today Jane lives in Massachusetts.
