Manchester College: Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education, with a minor in History
"The beautiful thing about education is that no one can take it away from you." --B.B. King
I cannot remember a time that I did not want to be a teacher. I enjoy seeing that look on a student's face when they first understand something that has been taught. I enjoy working with students from fourth grade to eighth grade. I am able to work with younger students but I am not comfortable working with students younger than second grade.
I will be student teaching at Akron Elementary in Akron, Indiana and Tippecanoe Valley Middle School in Mentone, Indiana. They are schools in the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation. I am looking forward to student teaching and the challenges that it will present.
