Not knowing you I step with wonder

Towards a friendship?

Yes I believe.

I sit in awe and watch

She takes his heart

He has been hurt so much before

I watch with a careful eye

He smiles and I know it is true

His heart is smiling

That I can see

I step closer

Friendship is there

The path is laid before me

I step on to the path and realize

It will be a journey

One I am ready to take.

I will step with you

And we walk as

Friends.
