I can be me

This world I have seen some pretty crazy things

Some where I don’t know which way I want to turn

Ups and downs

Highs and lows

It seems I have ridden this emotion rollercoaster before

But this time there is something different that I have never seen

Someone there to stand by me

I have always walked this lonely road alone

Silence has been my only friend

Until I stepped on to this new land

And found some one who likes me for me

No more games I have to play

No more hidden times

I have found some place

Just where I can be me

A new start

A whole new path

This time with the sun shining

And no rain to force me away

I can see clearly that this will be a bright and clear day
